Shri Vamanapurana (Sacchitra, Hindi-Anuvada Sahit) by Gita Press.
The Vamana Purana, an ancient Sanskrit text known as वामन पुराण (Vāmana Purāṇa) in Sanskrit, is part of the eighteen major Puranas of Hinduism and dates back at least 1,000 years. Originally named after a Vishnu incarnation, the surviving manuscripts now focus more on Shiva, although they include chapters honoring Vishnu and other Hindu deities. Despite being considered a Shaiva text, it is noted for its deviation from typical Purana characteristics and primarily serves as a compilation of Mahatmyas, offering travel guides to various Shiva-related sites in India intertwined with legends and mythology.
