Ādityahṛdayam (Sanskrit: आदित्यहृदयम्) is a revered Hindu devotional hymn dedicated to Āditya, also known as Sūrya (the Sun God). This hymn is located in the Yuddha Kānda of Vālmīki's Rāmāyana. It was recited by the sage Agastya to Rāma on the battlefield prior to his confrontation with the Rakshasa king Rāvaṇa. In this hymn, Agastya imparts the method of worshiping Āditya to gain the strength needed to overcome the enemy.
