This book is a compilation of notes, letters, telegrams, and public statements by Sri Aurobindo from various periods. It features around three hundred pages of material not found in the SABCL edition: more than a hundred pages are published here for the first time, while the remainder appeared previously only in journals or as sections of different books. Among the materials already published in the SABCL edition that are also included in this new volume, half comes from the now-retired volume Sri Aurobindo On Himself, and the other half is drawn from Letters on Yoga and the Supplement volume, which was never released as a standalone book. Most of the remaining letters from On Himself, written by Sri Aurobindo after 1927 and focusing on his personal journey and sadhana, will be featured in a new volume titled Letters on Himself and the Ashram.
