Mahanarayana Upanishad (Sanskrit: महानारायाना उपनिश्द, Mahanārāyaṇa Upaniṣad), also known as Brihannarayana Upanishad, is an ancient Sanskrit text and is one of the Hindu Minor Upanishads. The text is classified as a Vaishnava Upanishad.
The text exists in three main versions. A version with chapters is appended to the Krishna Yajurveda in several South Indian compilations and the Andhra edition contains the same text in an expanded form with 80 chapters on the same Veda. A second version was added to the Atharvaveda
