Shree Shree ma's Divine Lilas (English)

Shree Shree Mā Anandamayee is recognized as the greatest leading light in the spiritual galaxy of the twentieth century by countless millions and as the living embodiment of Pure Consciousness

She would travel across with no mission of raising a fan- following or establishing ashrams and donning the mantle of a publicly-adulated Guru. She was never one to give discourses, though She would explain in great details, according to the spiritual level of the child in front, any questions posed to Her. She would visit temples, ashrams of saints, devotee’s homes and hospitals, the sick and destitute, the rajas and the commoners with equal ease. She was not a sect follower and for Her temple visits, the basic teaching remained unchanged – all is One and One alone, all religions lead to the same Truth. The world is His Lila and manifestation. Engaging people during such visits, She would irreversibly attract them to Her forever.

Shree Shree Mā Anandamayee visited the state of Gujarat on numerous occasions – all of thirty times – often stayed for a few days or even months. Not only countless commoners, the royal families too were her admirers and often invited Her to their palaces. Many of them became Her disciples. An attempt has been made to record Mā’s visit in chronological order. Many devotees may not be aware that Shree Shree Mā had first visited the state way back in September 1930 with the last one being in the autumn of 1981.
